Onam

Onam is the festival of Kerala. All Keralaites celebrate Onam where ever they are. A 'Pookkalam' or the Flower Carpet is put on the front of every house for ten days till Onam. It is believed that King Mahabali visits his kingdom once every year. The Pookkalam is for welcoming him.

try this out with a simple example.

Example 1 : 22 X 11

Using the Magical methods

    2  2 X

    2    (2+2)   2
  --------------------------
Makes it   (2) (4) (2)
 ==========================

The rule is quite simple. Put the number to be multiplied with the sum of the numbers in the middle. Now let us try it with another example.
